In my second year of University myself and three others were given a brief by L'oreal to brand a new haircare product coming to launch early that next year. Pureology is the brand and we had to give the product a more natural feel with regards to the wording used to describe the ingredients used and the feelings associated with using the product. Within this project we looked at creating a new Salon featuring Pureology within a natural green surrounding to promote the eco-friendly feel to the haircare. Browsing on TCH (The Cool Hunter) today, i came across a new project coming to the forefront in 2012 in a major city. 'Treelife' as it has been named will showcase innovative and sustainable architecture and illustrate that natural green surroundings can co-exist with urban city life. The images featured are extremely similar to our projects inspirational boards, using treehouse inspiration on a larger, more innovative scale..mixing the old with the new. Bearing in mind we undertook this project about two years ago i think it's fair to say we were the first real cool hunter's on this one! Showcasing cutting edge green and sustainable design, 'Treelife' will invite big names in art, architecture and design to create in a public place amongst an array of other exciting projects. The treehouses will be made from recycled and sustainable materials and below are a couple of the images;
